A Beautiful Insight

Insight Of The Day

"One day at a time - this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone: and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering."
Ida Scott Taylor 1820-1915, Author

I think this is probably one of my favorite insights yet. How simple the idea, and how powerful the words. Now...if I can just remember to do this I'll be doing good. So many of us worry--probably way too much. Right? Worry about things we can't control; worry about things yet to come. Its a curse upon the women in my family, as I'm sure it is for many others. We're "worriers" And it doesn't do anyone any good. It causes undue stress, and that in turn takes its toll on every aspect of our lives. Is it really that hard to just "let go"? In this day and age, I think it is. However, conscientiously practicing to "not worry" would be a huge benefit to us all - mind, body and spirit. Lets give it a whirl, shall we? :)

Fall is in the air here in Georgia. While its not "officially" fall yet, the cool temps came in yesterday like a lion. Its by far my favorite time of the year :) Almost time for a trip to the N. Georgia mountains to see the leaves...something we love to do every year.

Rambled on long enough. :) ♥ Have a great Wednesday everyone!!!
Love & Peace,
Angie

BEAUtiful insight Ang! Very nice post.

I used to stress a LOT, but over the past few years I've learned to relax. Oh and one of my favorite sayings is "Let go or get dragged" - ;)

Absolutely Beautiful and so very true! Wow! The leaves here in Arizona just shrivel and dry to an ugly brown then drop off! LOL!!!

Thanks Rocki :) I LOVE that saying. I'm totally borrowing that from you! :) Hugs!

Aw, Laura...thats just sad. Poor little leafies LOL! I'll be sure to take some pictures when we go up. I just don't know if I could make it out there in Arizona. I'd definitely have to PUT ON my rainbow shades. Heee hee!
