"We were not created to be eaten by anxiety, but to walk upright, free, unafraid in a world where there is work to do, truth to seek, love to give and win."

Joseph Ford Newton
What a beautiful insight! Don't ya think? If I could remember this every time I start to worry or feel anxious - it'd do me a world of good - but its very hard, isn't it? When faced with adversity, we tend to only focus on that hardship, whatever it may be. Not good! Because all we're doing is attracting the negative, sad, anxious, nervous feelings and emotions to ourselves and our surroundings. If you are constantly focusing on the can you EVER see the good?

So here's your challenge: When faced with pessimism, challenges, controversy - stop and think. Try to change your focus. Look for the positive in the situation - there's always something positive - just search for it. Once you start to change your thought process to the positive, things will absolutely fall into place. Every time.

I hope you ALL have a wonderful day! I can see Friday just around the corner! :D
Love & Peace to all ♥,

Good Morning - O' Wise One. Wonderful message for the day - you're so right!! One of my favorite lines from a book I read was "don't think of the problem, think of the solution". Have a wonderful Wednesday!! keri

Ah, the perfect recipe for lemonade Ang! Excellent!!

I actually had to put this into practice several years ago and can say from experience it works. When my head was obsessing over negative thoughts (an I actually "caught" myself thinking them) I would immediately start thinking about my boys and how happy they made me. Some time later I realized that by doing that over and over again I had managed to change the behavior, pretty cool! Whoot!

Yay Sharon! Whoot! The whole thing makes me think of the pink starfish from Finding Nemo - the one in the fish tank ~ when she says, "find a happy place..find a happy place!!!" Cracks me up everytime! Shhhh...don't tell anyone, but I have a happy place in my head...BAH! It has bunnies and flowers and meadows...*snort*
Luv ya!!!! ♥

You know sometimes the simplest concepts are the coolest! I never thought of it being a "happy place" but hell yah! That's exactly what it is. ;-) (yay for bunnies) :D

Anxiety and negative thoughts only lead to bitterness in the end and who wants to be eating up by that old dog! You see many people whose lives are ruined by it. So, positive, good, kind thoughts are definitely the best thoughts!! A real tonic for the soul!
