~INSIGHT OF THE DAY~

U.S. Paralympian April Holmes

"Most people never run far enough on their first wind to find out they've got a second. Give your dreams all you've got and you'll be amazed at the energy that comes out of you.
"
William James 1842-1910, Psychologist, Professor and Author

Paralympians never cease to amaze me. I always think of the saying, "That which doesn't kill us, makes us stronger." It just seems to fit when I read about these incredible athletes. And I thought, after reading today's insight, what better way to convey how important it is to go after your dreams.

So, here's to ALL of you who have gone after your dreams or are chasing them right now. May you continue to inspire us.

Love & Peace to all,

That's So Beautiful! Runners who lost a limb are always so inspiring! I don't what it is about them, but I just love them!

Great quote!! It is true, we just need to remember that, and not be afraid. Because really we will either be stronger or dead. And if we are dead then what do we care!!:-)

Thanks Josh. I completely agree with you. Well said :o) ♥

Thanks D! You're right. Fear is a huge factor in not going after something you want. {Hey Fear...I spit on you MWHAHA!}

Y'all have a great day!

Oh Ang, my dad used to tell me that saying during times of difficult moments all the time while growing up. I tell myself the same thing when faced with them still today. Great post!
