Happy Monday! RAWR!!

Good Monday morning my friends! I had a wonderful weekend; I hope you did too!! I'm not entirely sure why I chose this picture for today ~ just made me laugh! LOL RAWR!!!

I wanted to send out a huge THANK YOU to all of you who've been so supportive and kind to me over the last few weeks. Some of you know what I"m going thru, some of you don't. Suffice it to say its very hard, but with friends like you all, its been a little more bearable. So THANK YOU for your gifts of friendship; it really means the world to me knowing you're all there...ready with your words of wisdom and encouragement when I need them most of all. ♥ HUGE hugs!!!!!

A little side note ~ it was one year ago, yesterday, February 22, that I discovered Etsy. Yep. One year. I created my little account, did my research, read a TON of articles and posts in the forums and made the decision to sign up. It wasn't until August of last year that I decided to open my shop, so I was on Etsy for about 5 1/2 months, buying and wishing and LOVEING every moment of the handmade world!!! Having this shop and this blog and having met all these amazing women (and men) ☺ has completely changed my life for the better!! I just adore you ALL!!!! BUY HANDMADE! Whoot!! :)P ♥

Good morning everyone :)

Just giving a quick update. I'm feeling a little better about my situation, but quite frankly I've been having a small pity party for myself. But...I'm still truckin right along with life. I'm still trying to be positive and look on the bright side {yes there actually is one!}, but its been difficult. Why is it so hard to stay positive? I mean, the last thing I need is to be down in the dumps, but I couldn't help it. Needed to stay at home and lick my wounds this weekend. Aaaand its Monday, so I'm sticking my head out of the den, slowly emerging, trying to get back on track. And...this picture was perfect for me this morning. Still a little blurry, can't see clearly yet, but I'm sure it will all be fine, somehow. I promise to send a few emails soon. Have a wonderful day :)

Good morning everyone! I must first start out by saying that, while its early Monday morning...I've already decided its going to be a wonderful day. I woke up feeling so rested and bright and chipper {don't slug me} - I don't know how this happened, but I like it. HA! Good Morning everyone!! Happy Friday ♥ I know I've posted this pic before, but its been a while and I've got some new stalkers...er, I mean followers *snort* and I really wanted to use it again. CRACKS me up! Hehee :)

And...a couple more pictures: My boys! ♥ The pics are a little blurry, I know...but I'm tellin ya...getting them to sit still long enough to take a pic is tough - we were using treats to get them to sit for these pics lol

This is Oliver or "Oliver-sudden" (because you're minding your own and look over and all of a sudden he's there) - "Olivarious" or "Oli-hair" :)
He's my little Sheltie. I always call him a "Miniature Sheltie" because he's the smallest Sheltie I've ever seen, but apparently there's no such thing as a miniature Sheltie. So he's my little miracle boy; I always tell him he's one of a kind. LOL And omg...is he spoiled. Seriously...how can you get mad at this face? When he ate Dan's Lazy-Boy...Dan just picked him up and loved on him. So wrong!! LOL






















And this is my big buddy boy Mac - or "Mac-a-doodle" - "shoogie boogie" - "Mom's best boy" - "Macaroni" - or "Mackie" He's a shepherd/lab mix.
He's my old man. He's stubborn as the day is long, has selective hearing and wants what he wants when HE wants it *rolls eyes* and of course we oblige him. Heheee :) He also does this thing with his throat when I tell him "No" - like he clears it or its a loud sigh or something. I call it "his back-talk" LOL He's 13 and doing great for his age. I think Oliver keeps him young. They play all the time.

So there ya go - those are my boys. Its amazing to me how much they're like children. Thank goodness they can't talk back BAH!!!

Mmmm-kay class, thats all I've got for today. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Was it just me or did this week just fly by? Its sure seemed like it. Hey...thats awesome! Whoooooot!

Happy Wednesday everyone :) I can't believe the week is half way over already - seems to be flying by and you won't get a complaint outta me. As far as I'm concerned, weekends can't get here soon enough. Whoot!! :)

Soooo, {♫ a needle pulling thread..♪) hehe - my Etsy shop has been buzzing over the last two weeks. Ever since I joined the "team", my jewels and I have been introduced to some wonderful women. I am SOO grateful to be a part of this team. Thanks again Sharon, for putting it all together and getting everyone on board - and well...for everything you do. You are such an inspiration to me and I know to many others. So I'm sending you a BIG WARM BEAR HUG ~ Love ya loads lady...

I've lots of earring designs in the works, as well as a few necklaces. I'm taking this whole 'inspiration' thing very slowly. I don't know why really...its just moving at a snails pace. Fine by me. I'd rather take my time and make them special than crank out piece after piece like some machine. Not gonna do it. Wouldn't be prudent. hehe

I was reading thru some of my feedback from my shop last night and saw a comment that said, "I love the uniqueness of this shop". That made me feel like a million bucks! But it got me thinking about what actually needs to be done as far as my designs go. There's a challenge, each time I make a pair of earrings or a necklace to make it something special/different. So, thats what I'll think of when I sit down to make something "think unique!" That word seems to be so overused, but when people see my designs, I want them to know that they won't see something like it in a mall or on anyone else for that matter. Thats what makes it special. Thats what makes it handmade. Buy Handmade! Whoot! :) lol

Monday ~ Monday ~ Monday

Well?? What do ya think? I got a ton of cleaning done this weekend... :) *snort*

Hello people...aaaaand its Monday again. Ding dang Mondays. They seem to come around every week. Duuuuude - what a drag. hehe

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Despite having to do some heavy cleaning, my weekend was great! Whoot!

Oh...and if you heard a *THUD* sometime during the weekend, it was me falling off that 'ol diet wagon. Yep. Crash and burn. Ugh. How am I expected to be really diligent and stay on track when there are yummy things everywhere I turn? You see, I have no will power when it comes to chocolate, ice cream and brownies. Oh, and also tortilla chips and salsa. Oh, and any kind of pizza. Oh, and fried foods too. Oh, well...you get the idea. Usually during the weekends, when my fridge is stocked, I'll do pretty good. When the stock is low, thats when I get into trouble. *sigh* However, I refuse to beat myself up over it. One day at a time, I always say. Thank goodness for another day! lol

Alright people, its time for me to wrap this up and wish you all a good productive week. I'm off to put my face on *snort* and have my 3rd cup of tea. Wheeeee! (yep, I'm a little hyper)
